Our History
One hundred and twenty years of service. The story of the Delaware County Firemen’s Association, the presidents who led it, and the members we remember.
120 years of service
The Delaware County Firemen’s Association was founded in 1906 to unite, train, and represent the volunteer fire companies of Delaware County, Pennsylvania. From a handful of borough fire companies at the turn of the 20th century, the Association has grown to serve 73+ member organizations across the county.
Across more than a century, DCFA has championed firefighter training, advocated for the volunteer fire service at every level of government, and provided mutual aid coordination that has saved lives and property throughout Delaware County.
This page honors the leaders who have served as President of the Association.
